At our Truck Driving school, you will gain the essential skills needed to safely operate a semi trailer in a professional manner. You will become well versed in performing the necessary inspections before operation. Everything you learn will be geared toward the goal of passing the Class A CDL certification exam. We provide flexible scheduling options to help fit a truck driving education in to your busy life. We are proud to offer both full-time day or part-time weekend options.

Class A CDL
As mentioned earlier, the Class A CDL can be taken at Ohio Business College’s Truck Driving Academy. While we are unable to guarantee that you will pass the CDL test, our school instructors and staff will do their best to help you learn the required truck driving skills and knowledge to do so.
Ohio Business College’s Truck Driving Academy regularly hosts recruiters from carriers across the state of Ohio and America. Our graduates have gone on to work for some of the largest carriers in the country, including Schneider, Home Run and I-Supply. As a graduate of our truck driving program, you will also be able to take advantage of our connections in the industry. Our extensive alumni network in the truck driving industry is one of our strongest assets. Our school's Career Services team can help you find a position and route that is right for you fresh off your graduation from one of our programs. Career search and training is available to all Ohio Business College students.
The current demand for truck drivers means it is a good time to get into the truck driving industry. According to the Occupational Information Network (O*NET), employment of truck drivers is projected to increase anywhere from five to ten percent through 2026.
