Technology is constantly evolving and improving. Each day, businesses, governments and private citizens rely on their electronic devices that have Internet access to more easily complete tasks that were once much more tedious only a decade ago. With the use of Internet and technology to create, store and send sensitive information becoming more of a necessity, it is important for there to be skilled individuals who know how to troubleshoot our devices and maintain the security of information that is transferred over the world wide web. Jobs in cybersecurity, network support and computer support are in high demand and will likely continue to be for the foreseeable future. For example, computer support specialist employment is projected to increase by 11 percent through 2026 relative to 2016. As technology continues to evolve and hackers learn how to beat current computer security measures, the need for computer support and security specialists will continue to be in demand.
