Career Training Programs Offered:
Our trade program in HVAC/R offers instruction in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. During this HVAC/R program, you will receive both classroom lecture and hands-on training to prepare you for licensing and certification.
The Electrician program can be completed in as little as 9 months, attending full-time. During this training program, you will learn the fundamentals of electricity, safety practices and electrical system installation. Ohio Business College graduates receive hands-on training to start working as a junior electrician.
Our Class A CDL Truck Driving program is offered at both the Dayton and Columbus campuses. Completed in as little as 4-weeks, during this training program you learn the technical driving skills and roadway safety knowledge that prepares you for the CDL certificate exam.
Allied Health Programs
Completed in as little as 44 weeks, the Practical Nursing program offers vocational training in classroom theory and hands-on patient care. This training program prepares you for the NCLEX-PN exam to become licensed as an LPN in the state of Ohio.
OBC's Nursing Assistant course will prepare you for the Ohio Nurse Aid test to qualify for a job in a hospital, long term care facility, or home health position. The 75-hour course combines classroom theory, skill development in a lab, and actual skills application for experience. Graduation can also be a stepping stone, with additional training, to becoming a nurse.
The Medical Assisting training program can be completed in as little as 12 months, with both day and evening hybrid class options. Curriculum focuses on classroom skills and hands-on training in clinical and administrative roles within medical facilities. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and Registered Medical Assistant exams.
A two-year associate degree program offers both accounting and business skills to work as a bookkeeper or to start your own business. Curriculum focuses on payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing and taxes training. The training program ends with an externship that offers real world experience in accounting and business management.
Ohio Business College offers both a Business Administration degree and diploma to find entry level positions in banking, human resources, retail, and administration. This training program builds skill sets in communication, management, accounting, law, and technology.
A two-year associate degree program that builds a strong foundation in administrative office skills. From software applications and word processing to office support and other administrative duties, the training program prepares graduates for entry-level positions in many office-related administrative roles.
Interested in becoming a real estate agent and want to prepare for the licensing exam? Ohio Business College offers a Real Estate Pre-Licensing course that can be completed in as little as 3 months. This course is offered in the evening for adult students that have responsibilities during the day.
